What do good film schools look for in portfolios?

I'm mainly looking at UCLA and USC. What would they look for in a portfolio when applying to film school? Creative writing? Film reels?|||Anything and everything that shows that you are a creative person. That you think differently than the other thousand applicants. Show them that you have the passion and yearning to learn at their school. You need to show that you are an outside of the box thinker. You are going to their school to learn the tools of the trade, you need to already have the innovation of the mind. I hope that helps.
