Does anyone have any filming techniques when it comes to creating a skate film?

In the new year our skate crew is making a film. I have purchased a camera from christmas and just need some hints/ tips when it comes to filming lines and stuff. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.|||just keep your distance and follow as smooth as pos!|||make sure you use a tripod and always keep it straight.

move the camera, not the tripod.

for editing, if your looking for something basic, use windows movie maker

for something more advanced use final cut pro on apple computers.|||try filming your skating in hollywood, it always comes out good when it's done in hollywood|||Whilst this isnt directly related to your question it might help. I have an Archos portable video player/recorder. I also have a helmet camera for it, produced by Archos. Its reasonable quality and seems fairly tough in general use. Its perfect for capturing a skaters point of view. I've used it for fishing and shooting with great results.|||the best advice i have is watch skate vids starting with youtube some people do a good job of editing and making it look pretty good... start off there and try making some vids like that.. then move onto pro vids and watch those and take from them what you like...

there isnt one really... there isnt even a best deck brand there are several top brands... different brands make the best skateboard parts...

you can start off with this vid my friend and i made... im just the filmer i cant skate and we both edited it but mostly him... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5R32QeqiV鈥?/a>

also check out the skate vids from my friends youtube page he's pretty sick.. check out his other vids and subscribe if you like... http://www.youtube.com/user/zach01313 ... and if you ever need trick tips you can message him...after subing...
